In 2010-2011, we worked together with the Great Artist Program to create an identity, printed materials, and website.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the project was creating an original drawing of each artist studied in the program. Mike Loveland created 26 original artist portraits to be used by the Great Artist Program in their lesson plans and printed materials. Because Mike is an art history buff, this was especially enjoyable!
Large versions of these portraits are featured in each lesson plan so that as teachers and volunteers teach about an artist, the children in the classroom can see a portrait of that artist.
