In June 2011, we helped Shabby Apple to alter images of a dress from their photo shoot. The dress that had arrived from the manufacturer in time for the photo shoot unfortunately was not true to what the final product would look like. Mike Loveland was able to alter the dress to look true to the finished product.
Pay special attention to these details in the before and after images above:
Dress lengthened from mid-thigh to knee length.
Lace overlay lengthened past hem of skirt, translucent beyond the hem of skirt.
Sleeves changed from opaque to translucent. (In two of the images, Mike gave the model new arms in order to accomplish this, drawing from other photos in the photo shoot.)
Top of chair reconstructed where model’s hand was removed.
(As well as general improvements to the images.)
