I wanted to make a pattern featuring buntings today. I realized that if I made a large irregular fish scale, I could fill it in with little bunting flags. I decided to do a variety of flag shapes, but this might be fun to try again with a single flag shape, or just two, maybe. I don’t mind the busy-ness of this, though!

I really like the aqua, I think because it reminds me of pretty Chinese lanterns. For fabric, I think I’d like the white best. Good job, it’s pretty!
